We recommend this motor only if your design cannot accommodate one of our lower cost 10mm or 12mm diameter coin vibration motors. The motor comes with self-adhesive tape that can be used to secure the motor to the PCB or the inner wall of the product housing. We can use a variety of connectors to terminate the leads. FPC options are also available.

Measuring only 8mm x 2mm, the JTC0820B006F is our smallest 8mm diameter brushed flat vibration motor. The motor comes with self-adhesive tape that can be used to secure the motor to the PCB or the inner wall of the product housing. It can also be ordered without tape if your application does not require it. The motor comes with leads to which we can add standard connectors. For orders of 10K pieces or more, we can provide custom FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit).

This coin vibration motor uses an FPC with large contact pads, usually connected to PCBA mounted pogo pins or spring contacts on the PCBA. The motor is installed close to the inner wall of the product casing, and there is 3M 467 double-sided tape on the rear of the motor for easy installation. If leads are required, wires can be soldered to these contact pads; however, the wires must be thin and flexible (UL3302 AWG 32/34) to prevent the adhesive holding the FPC to the metal base from separating and the FPC from lifting upward. If the FPC size or contact arrangement is not suitable for your application, we can manufacture custom flex circuits based on your design. Mold fees may apply.
